Our NAP won yesterday, and we are hoping to strike for a
second time at Lingfield.
4:20 Yarmouth – Cool Team (6/5)
After a string of consistent efforts, I am expecting Cool
Team to finally get his head in front for Hugo Palmer. This isn’t the strongest
of contests and his current form should be enough to see him get through this.
He won’t need to find too much more, and I expect him to get his head in front.
4:45 Lingfield – One For June (5/4) NAP
I fancied her to win at Newbury a few weeks ago, and she
wasn’t beaten too far when fourth on her second start. She didn’t have too much
room that day, and deserved to go a bit closer. This isn’t as competitive a
contest, and with a bit more luck she should be too good.
8:40 Bath – Dowayla (6/4)
A nice Godolphin colt who seems to be improving is Dowayla.
He posted some good form as a juvenile winning his maiden, before struggling in
two starts afterwards. Last time out at Ripon he ran well to finish a very
close second, only beaten by a nose by an improving prospect. A furlong shorter
should benefit, and he looks like a horse on the up.
