Wednesday's Best Bets: Minella a 'Fair' Bet

Embed from Getty Images Today's best bets come from some horses Tippin' Jimmy has been waiting to see for a while.

12:50 Punchestown - Minella Fair (15/8)
Noel Meade has some high ambitions for this horse who won very well in a bumper last time out. He cleared a good field by ten lengths and looks like he can progress into a smart type on soft ground this year. He goes over hurdles and must have a very strong chance. I am a tad worried about the Gordon Elliott horse Miracle In Medinah.

1:25 Wetherby - Not That Fuisse (5/1)
I watched this race in a pub on my phone and I put it down thinking everything was going great, then he pulled-up and clearly something was amiss. He should be a nice novice hurdler for Dan Skelton and should have a bold chance of making amends here.

3:05 Wetherby - Jennifer Juniper (5/2)
Fergal O'Brien has been enjoying an excellent season with his bumper horses and this one could come good for him this season. She was second in a fair decent point-to-point contest and will certainly come on for those runs. She will like conditions, faces her own sex and should run a very tidy race.

3:45 Hereford - Peculiar Places (Evs)
Warren Greatrex thinks really highly of this horse who should be up to winning a bumper here today. This is a nice starting point for him, after he finished second behind a nice prospect at Ascot last time. Settie Hill is a nice horse and since been moved to Nicky Henderson, so his neck defeat form is very strong. He should be up to striking here.

4:10 Kempton - Ispolini (10/11)
Charlie Appleby often knows how to get a good juvenile to win races and this one cost a seven figure sum and could be very good. The pedigree is incredible and he has the potential to run in the very best races. He made a solid debut effort after a poor start and should do a fair bit better today.
