Sunday's Best Bets: Death can restore his winning Duty

Tippin' Jimmy gives us his five best bets from Sunday's racing

12:50 Carlisle - Black Tulip (4/1)
Richard Johnson is making a very long journey up to Cumbria to ride this horse and he should be coming back with another winner to his name. Henry Daly's mare finished sixth last time but desperately needed the run and there is plenty more to come. She's on a nice mark, and deserves to go really well.

1:20 Carlisle - Benie Des Dieux (4/9)
It is very rare that Rich Ricci describes a mare as very special, so when one is this price at a track like Carlisle you must be wary. This is a good little race, but this mare was a really good winner on her sole chase start at Limerick and the fashion she won it in was mightily impressive. If she is as good as first figured, then this could be a walkover although it is a good little race.

1:55 Carlisle - Meadowcroft Boy (3/1)
Alistair Whillans has a nice eight-year-old here who can utilise a very nice mark up in Cumbria today. He won well at Kelso in October, before losing narrowly here. He'll like all the conditions and there should be another good performance in him.

2:35 Fairyhouse - Death Duty (8/11)
I thought he would blossom at the Festival last season but things didn't work out and since he has gone chasing he's been exceptional. Gordon Elliott's six-year-old has been really good in two outings and steps up to Grade One level here. I like him and if he runs his race he should be hard to stop.

3:40 Fairyhouse - Dinons (2/1)
This four-year-old was second to Red Jack on his only visit to the racecourse and that form makes him the one to beat here. He's a lovely propsect, should enjoy the conditions and deserves to run well here under Jamie Codd.
