Monday's Best Bets: Day to Break maiden at Brighton

After a profitable weekend, Tippin' Jimmy has some very strong fancies on Monday's racecard. Some short prices, but a lovely accumulator.

1:50 Windsor – Take Me With You (3/10)
Jeremy Noseda absolutely adores this filly, and she will be hard to beat if she can reproduce her last run. The nicely-bred juvenile finished a very strong third in the Albany Stakes at Royal Ascot last time out, and that form is far better than anything else in the race. Dropped back to maiden level, she should prove very hard to beat. A short price, but a strong addition to an accumulator.

2:00 Brighton – Daybreak (4/6)
Daybreak is another of the day’s favourites I am siding with. Hughie Morrison’s two-year-old finished fourth on debut, before running very strongly at Newmarket last time out. She was beaten narrowly in a maiden event by a decent horse in Gavota, who has gone on to win again by no less than six lengths. That form boosts her exceptionally, and she is more than capable of winning here.

2:10 Ripon – Mokaatil (4/6)
A third short price favourite of the day, but I really cannot get enough of them today. Mokaatil has a very strong chance of breaking his maiden today, he finished fourth at Royal Ascot and that run firmly sets the standard in Yorkshire. He was a little disappointing last time out when second, but he can firmly make amends today.

2:40 Ripon – Qaaraat (5/1)
Qaaraat is an expensive horse to follow, but it may all pay off today. He is a fairly good price, after some disappointing efforts recently for Ed Dunlop. He’s a consistent type, finishing third in his last four runs, and went very close at Wolverhampton on his penultimate start. Last time out he didn’t like the ground, and today’s should suit him much better. A handy 3lb drop should help, and he can take this handicap contest.

3:30 Brighton – Alwaysandforever (1/4)
A maiden winner in waiting is Alwaysandforever for Luca Cumani. The three-year-old has only visited the racecourse once, but ran very well when a half-a-length second to Coronet at Leicester. She has since gone on to be one of Europe’s leading three-year-old fillies and a Group Two winner. The form is very strong, he should’ve matured since September’s run and Ryan Moore returns in the saddle.

Our big fourfold - (Alwaysandforever/Daybreak/Mokaatil/Take Me With You) 9/2
