Friday's Best Bets: Tetraites can do it in Style

Tippin' Jimmy believes he has a nice accumulator up his sleeve this afternoon.

12:40 Hexham - Tetraites Style (9/4)
A nice improving type for Nicky Richards is Tetraites Style, who deserves to get off the mark after a promising second at this venue last month. He wasn't beaten too far when a runner-up to Grade Two winning Dame Rose and should improve from that run. Connections fancied him strongly that day, they must be a lot more confident today.

1:20 Warwick - Bill And Barn (9/2)
Paul Nicholls is in tremendous form at the minute and he can extend his great record in Warwick today. He was a two-time point-to-point winner, before two credible efforts in bumper company. This hurdling test looks a good ask over this much longer trip. He should like the softer ground, and will go on to be a very nice chaser.

2:30 Fontwell - Castafiore (12/1)
Charlie Longsdon's Castafiore was working up before the race, and inevitably finished nowhere at Stratford on his last start. She is the type to improve from that run and should be on a nice mark now. It's a competitive race, but she could begin to change her fortunes today.

3:50 Warwick - Miss Tynte (11/2)
David Pipe paid a fair share for this horse, who is looking to break his maiden following two strong efforts in bumpers. He finished an excellent second in a big field in Ireland, before his move to England. He hasn't been seen since finishing fourth at Carlisle a year ago. If he's fit and well he should have a very good chance.

7:15 Newcastle - Waarif (2/1)
Another well regarded prospect is Waarif for David O'Meara. Still unexposed he was a winner in maiden company back last season, and ran a very creditable second on his seasonal return at this venue when second. That was following a long break back, and the run will do him a lot of good.
