Saturday's Best Bets: Our Reason to bet Bold

Tippin' Jimmy tells us his top Saturday selections, as he hopes to extend his brilliant record this week.

2:10 Market Rasen - Eragon De Chanay (7/2)
This horse is a very nice French recruit for Gary Moore, who comes here having enjoyed a comfortable win in his only start. The form of that race is quite strong, and he looks like a horse that potentially could be very good. I am banking on him being the real deal today,

2:30 Chester - Ayutthaya (Evs)
Kevin Ryan Ayutthaya comes to Chester with some very solid maiden form, and deserves to get his head in front today. He has been second on two occasions, including in a good novice event at York. That first, third and fourth have all won since that run, and he should be able to follow in their footsteps at Chester today.

4:10 Newmarket - Bye Bye Baby (6/4)
Ryan Moore will be quietly confident of a Newmarket win aboard Bye Bye Baby for boss Aidan O'Brien. She sets a high standard in this maiden contest having finished a very close second at Leopardstown. She lost out to a very good newcomer in Lightening Quick, and the worry is she may find one today, but her form is strong and she looks hard to oppose in this.

4:25 Haydock - Bold Reason (2/1)
John Gosden has been enjoying a good season, and will certainly want to be in winning form before Enable's Arc bid tomorrow. He is represented in the maiden contest by Bold Reason, who finished fourth on his sole start at Sandown. That was a very strong race, and like most juveniles he will improve a lot for that run. He is nicely bred and if he handles the ground should run a big race.

5:25 Chester - Mouille Point (10/1)
Mouille Point is a horse that should be up to winning off a mark of 77, and today's test looks ideal for her. She finished off her race nicely to finish third at Chepstow last time out, and is unchanged for that run. Today's slightly longer trip should benefit her, and she seems to go well on all ground. Hopefully she can sit nicely just off the pace and deliver a winning challenge late on. She has a serious chance at a seriously big price. Persistence is a danger.
