Tuesday's Best Bets: Hero set to save a Humble day

Tippin' Jimmy has four big fancies for Tuesday's racecard, including a duo for William Haggas.

4:40 Listowel - Law Girl (3/1)
Willie Mullins's very nice filly Law Girl was an impressive winner on her penultimate start, and if she brings that form to the race will be hard to beat. She will relish the conditions in Kerry this afternoon, and should be better than her most recent Galway third suggests. Her opening handicap mark is very low, and I am expecting a bold performance.

6:45 Newcastle - Humble Hero (13/8)
I have been keeping a firm eye on this horse all season, and I fully expect him to strike in this handicap. It took him three starts to finally strike in maiden company, and he did so in excellent style at Doncaster. He was a tad disappointing on his handicap debut when fourth at Haydock, and should progress even further from that run. A drop in grade and trip is a boost, he could have a big future ahead.

7:15 Newcastle - Sileel (7/1)
This very nicely bred three-year-old sets a high standard of form in this field, and could finally strike in her sixth career start. She has finished second in three of her maidens, losing out to some pretty good horses. She has dropped another 1lb for her narrow defeat at Chelmsford last time out, where a Godolphin newcomer only just got past her. She sets a strong standard.

7:45 Newcastle - Daddys Poppit (7/1)
A second William Haggas selection on the card, and Daddys Poppit may be a horse to be on in the maiden. He only defeated one rival when ninth on debut at Newmarket, but is bred excellently and is clearly better than that run suggests. The all-weather may benefit him, and he will most certainly come on for his first run.

Trixie - Law Girl/Humble Hero/Sileel
